Bad Dreams

I guess dreams can be a bad thing...when it comes to dreams of mine it is
more in the way of possessions; the latest PDA, new accessories for my
computer, etc My wife on the other hand, dreams of intangibles, like a trip
or a cruise. I used to work as a travel agent and the one thing that
annoyed me more than a customer that didn't know where they wanted to go,
was listening to someone revel in their own tales of travel. "Oh, yeah we
took a week trip to the Bahamas and two cruises last year alone..." In my
head, I'm thinking: I don't give a fuck! Do you want me to book your trip
or not!

I hate pictures, you know why men hate picturs of trips...because it
reminds them of how much money they spent on something they no longer have
or have any use for. At least if he had spent it on a new home stereo he
would have at least gotten six months use out of it before selling it
(money coming in) or trading it up towards somethng new (again using
sustained value).

I'm not always the easiest person to get along with, so a lot of times I
look at pictures and remember the fight that ensued, feelings that got
hurt, or other crappy situation.

Here's my idea on pictures, take mental ones...when those fade away and
can't be recalled anymore, make new ones...
